Reveal or Not to?

Almost all the parents do not want to give away the names they are going to give their children after their birth. It is understandable.
Parents are afraid that someone will start to criticize the name that someone will start to tell some unpleasant things about the name and will beg to change their mind.
But, at this point all the parents should remember that this is their baby and only they have a right to choose the name. Of course, they can listen to the wishes of grandmothers and grandfathers, but still, the right to make a decision remains their right.
Some parents want to surprise everybody with the choice of the name that is why they do not reveal the name of the toddler.
Some of the future parents do not even want to give away the gender of the baby. Some for some religious persuasions, some because of they are afraid that ultrasound has shown the wrong information.
But, to tell the truth I understand such parents who tell the gender and the name to everyone. They are so happy and excited with the future birth of baby that they can not keep it in secret anymore.
