Do you see the connection between such names as Jimmy Page, Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin and The Firm? Those who are fans of real rock of course will tell that all these names have common moment and this moment is Jimmy Page. Jimmy Page belongs to the best guitarists and rock musicians of 40ies. He was one of original riff rockers and his style excited and attracted plenty of rock fans. It is possible to say that Jimmy’s career began to develop with rock group Yardbirds. At that time, one of its members Eric Clapton made a decision to leave the group and he was replaced by Jeff beck. Later Clapton advised to consider Jimmy Page and he was accepted. There were times when Page and Beck with their guitars attacked people by their music. When Yardbirds split up, Page tried to create something similar and he called it The New Yardbirds, but finally they were called Led Zeppelin and became one of the best and famous hard rock band all over the world. Work at this band permitted Jimmy Page to demonstrate his talent and creativity. In 80ies, Jimmy was involved with one more group called The Firm. He created it with his friend Paul Rogers. It was the attempt to depart from usual sphere of activity and try t something new. They released two albums; they made several rather successful tours but Jimmy didn’t achieve the same success as it was with previous groups.
