Get Walking

By: Justin Lukasavige

It is easily determined that most of what we do in our lives is meaningless and trivial; it stands to offer us no purpose and gives us little gain in life. Certain things come to mind like watching TV, instant messaging, wandering aimlessly on the internet and playing video games.

While I do believe that these activities do enrich our lives sometimes, most of the time we do them at the expense of activities which should be more important, have a higher priority and actually enrich our lives.

We very easily spend 85% of our time creating 15% of our results. Most of our time is spent on things that are urgent, but not important. We put off the big stuff to do the small stuff. That robs us of productivity.

We need to learn how to procrastinate. Put off the small stuff that gets in the way of you doing something great. Schedule a time to sit down each month to do your budget. It may not be as fun or as easy to do as other tasks on your list, but in the overall scheme of things, it can easily be the most important.

One of the best methods of prioritizing your tasks is to list them at the beginning of each day. If too many of them see daunting, simply pick the one that is the hardest and will give you the most results. Tackle that one first and the rest of your list will breeze by.

The first thing you need to do is to identify the 85% of things that are holding you back. Put those off until later and success will come readily to you!
